I often hear comments about how the game of golf is 10% physical and 90% mental. Does this ring true with you? Have you ever lost your cool on a bad shot, or stood at the first tee with jitters or lost your concentration on the back 9? Stress can affect our game far more than we imagine. Do the pressures of work and home creep into our golf without us even realising it? Many experts say that stress is becoming extremely prevalent with symptoms of no energy, poor sleep, mood swings, road rage, colds and flu being the norm. If we don’t treat it, then more serious conditions and diseases can arise.

So often we buy new golf equipment thinking it’s going to make a difference to our game when what we really should be doing is looking for ways to improve our stress levels. Tools such as trolleys can help take the stress away from carrying your clubs, but we need to look a bit deeper than that to improve your game.
